Growing Greenery at Northfield

Thrive  pupils at Northfield have been redesigning the front outdoor reception area over that past few months. 
 

They have been working hard on removing rubble, wheelbarrowing stones, laying compost, planting flowers and bulbs. 

They have put in a stepping stone path using recycled sea glass and stone and have reused wood from the gazebo that the builders had left for us.

They have taken a lot of time and effort into the project to make the outdoor space more user friendly, and we now have a lovely bench for parents and pupils to sit on and relax.

This area is still work in progress, a lot more planting and decorating.
