Sector Administrator (Hospitals)Fixed Term

Location: James Brindley Academy, initially based mainly at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, but could be employed at any James Brindley setting

Contract Type: fixed-term for one year

Working Hours: 35 plus banked hours; Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm

Salary: GRADE 2, scp11 £18,562pa (Pro rata: £17,799pa) to scp24 £23,541pa (Pro rata: £22,573pa)

James Brindley Academy Hospital Sector offers co-education for children and young people of the ages 3 to 19 years from all parts of the UK.  We are a successful school with a long and proven track record of providing high quality education for young people with varying health needs. 

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to deal with a wide variety of administration requirements across our Hospitals Sector. This is a busy role supporting all aspects of the Sector’s administration functions. You will be expected to be a confident user of MS Office applications as well as to produce work consistently to a high standard. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, with the ability to liaise between a variety of stakeholders including pupils, staff, health professionals and parents.  An understanding of data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding is essential as is being approachable and having initiative to support developments within the sector.

The position is based  at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, which is the central hub for our Hospitals Sector but you may be required to work across our other Hospitals Centres or Academy Sectors.
