About Us

SEND

At James Brindley, Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.  We aim to provide an inclusive provision for all young people that we meet in the teaching centres, in the hospitals or in the home.

Our staff are highly skilled and trained, enabling them to understand and cater for a wide range of conditions.  Our staff plan personalised lessons to break down the barriers to learning and support our young people to be aspirational in everything they do.

We have a team of dedicated SENCo’s who support the wider staff team in order to identify, assess and plan for strategies and interventions for all pupils in each centre. Full details can be found on page 15 in the SEND Information Report below.

Birmingham Local Offer Website

The Birmingham Local Offer website has now launched.  It includes information about the wide range of services that are available to support all areas of a child’s life (0-25 years) especially those with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND).  This includes support with education, physical and mental health, social care, leisure activities and moving towards independence and adulthood.
