The vast majority of pupils at Newbridge House are inpatients and are receiving treatment for an Eating Disorder. Pupils range between 8 and 18 years old. Most pupils are ‘dual registered’ with James Brindley School and we work closely with ‘home schools’ in order to support pupils to stay ‘on track’ with their studies.

Some pupils, mainly those at KS5 who have been unable to engage with their chosen post-16 pathway due to illness, are sole registered to James Brindley School. We work alongside the Newbridge Occupational Therapy team in order to ensure that they transition to appropriate further education / employment after they are discharged.
