Parents/Carers
At Willows school, we understand the importance of working closely with parents and carers in order to effectively support the needs of our pupils. As part of the admission process at Parkview Clinic, parents and carers are invited to come and have a look around the centre. The Centre Leader is available to discuss their child’s education and to share any concerns or queries that they may have. As many of our parents are located all over the country, we always try to fit meetings around visits to the unit.
As part of the Parkview CPA (Care Plan Approach) process, all Willows teachers submit a summative written report that details an individual pupil’s progress in their subject. These reports are submitted to the clinic prior to the CPA meeting.
Where pupil need has been identified, key members of the James Brindley team attend each meeting in order to discuss and share ideas on the best way forward.
